Established in 1962, Tel-Air Interests, a Hollywood, Florida-based film/video production company, thrives as the Southeast's oldest private production company. President Grant Gravitt Jr. reflects on its inception, emphasizing the necessity to diversify and control the narrative, a principle that remains pivotal today.
Tel-Air emerged in 1960 when local television producers were scarce, leading the company to venture into various directions. Early projects included CBS's Miss Universe and Miss USA Pageants, NASCAR and Sears documentaries, and the iconic Timex "It takes a licking and keeps on ticking" campaign featuring Lolita the Killer Whale.
Over the decades, Tel-Air undertook diverse projects, from government commissions to music specials, political campaigns, live sports programming, syndicated sports features, conventions, and pioneering televised murder trials long before the O.J. trial. Today, Tel-Air functions as a film and streaming development company, catering to a diverse clientele, including PBS, NBC, CBS, IMG, IBM, and various entertainment leaders.
Tel-Air's development portfolio includes projects like "Spring Break Reunion", "Jockey", and the annual Miss Florida USA and Miss Florida Teen USA Pageants. The company also offers media placement, advertising, and graphic design services.

This addition positions Tel-Air to produce feature films and documentaries, certified for major studios, Hulu, and Netflix, reinforcing its status as a world-class production company based in Hollywood and Miami, Florida.
